The 21+ Rule — No Exceptions
Philippine law and PAGCOR regulations set the minimum gambling age at 21 years old. py2ph enforces this strictly. Every new account must pass a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process that confirms the player's identity and age before any deposit or gameplay is permitted. Acceptable ID documents include a Philippine passport, driver's license, PhilSys National ID, UMID, or other PAGCOR-accepted government-issued identification.
If py2ph discovers that a player under 21 has registered — whether through a false declaration or any other means — the account is immediately suspended, all funds are returned, and the incident is reported to PAGCOR as required by our operating license. py2ph also takes steps to prevent the same individual from re-registering.
Responsible Gaming is Built Into the Platform
py2ph does not treat responsible gaming as an afterthought. Our platform is designed from the ground up with player protection in mind. Deposit limits, loss limits, session timers, and self-exclusion tools are not buried in obscure menus — they are prominently accessible from every player's account dashboard. We want these tools to be easy to find and easy to use, because the easier they are to use, the more likely players are to use them when they need to.
py2ph also monitors player behavior for patterns that may indicate problem gambling — such as sudden large increases in deposit frequency, extended session durations, or repeated attempts to reverse self-exclusion requests. When our systems flag a concern, our trained support team reaches out proactively to check in with the player.
Protecting Vulnerable Players
py2ph recognizes that some players may be more vulnerable to gambling-related harm than others. This includes players who are experiencing financial stress, mental health challenges, or personal crises. Our support team is trained to handle these situations with sensitivity and to direct players toward appropriate professional resources when needed.
py2ph does not target marketing at players who have self-excluded, activated cooling-off periods, or shown signs of problem gambling. Once a player activates any responsible gaming restriction, they are automatically removed from all promotional communications for the duration of that restriction.
Keeping Gaming in Perspective
The golden rule of responsible gaming at py2ph is simple: only play with money you can afford to lose, and only play for as long as it stays fun. Gaming at py2ph — whether you are playing slots, bingo, or live casino games — should be treated as entertainment spending, the same way you would budget for a night out in BGC or a weekend trip to Tagaytay.
- Set a gaming budget before you start and stick to it.
- Never chase losses — the next spin or hand will not necessarily win back what you lost.
- Take regular breaks, especially during long sessions.
- Do not play when you are emotionally distressed, tired, or under the influence of alcohol.
- Keep gaming separate from your financial obligations — bills, rent, and savings come first.
- Talk to someone you trust if you feel your gaming is getting out of hand.
Underage Access Prevention
If you share a device with family members, especially younger siblings or children, py2ph strongly recommends enabling device-level parental controls and ensuring your py2ph account is always logged out when not in use. Never share your py2ph login credentials with anyone. If you suspect a minor has accessed your account, contact py2ph support immediately.
